Connecting NETCOMM NF18 ACV Mesh to NBN Network
To improve your browsing experience, we recommend you update your NetComm modem setting by following the steps below;
Connection Profile Update Steps
STEP 1: Connect to your modem configuration page by visiting 192.168.20.1
- Enter the username and password that's either located at the bottom of the modem or if you modified it use the new one. Example default Username – admin & Password - admin
STEP 2: Once logged in you will the see the summary page of your modem settings:

STEP 3: Access the WAN Services by clicking Advanced Setup from the left panel:

STEP 4: Click on WAN Services:

STEP 5: Click on Add:

STEP 6: Click on eth4/eth4 for FTTP, HFC, FTTC, FW (i.e. Ethernet Cable Connected to Modem) connection type or click ptm0/(0_1_1) for FTTB/N connection type (i.e. Phone Cable Connected to Modem).

- Choose PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) & IPv4&IPv6(Dual Stack) for Network Protocol and click Next.

- Enter your Flip Provided User Name and Password and name the PPPoE Service Name as FLIP then click Next

- Then click Next – Next – and Apply/Save through the next pages.
- Click the remove options for an other profiles that are created leaving on the new one you created. Then Click Remove.

- Go to Management and Click Reboot to restart the device.


- Wait for your system to come back online and update all setting. This may take up to 2 minutes to complete.
