Connecting NETCOMM NF18 Mesh to NBN Network

To improve your browsing experience, we recommend you update your NetComm modem setting by following the steps below;

Connection Profile Update Steps

STEP 1: Connect to your modem configuration page by visiting 192.168.20.1
  • Enter the username and password that's either located at the bottom of the modem or if you modified it use the new one.
    Example default Username – admin & Password - admin

STEP 2: Once logged in you will the see the summary page of your modem settings:

STEP 3: Access the Internet Option by clicking Google Home Icon

STEP 4: Configure you modem based on your Connection type:

Fibre To The Node & Building (FTTN/B): If you have a current connection setup, Click VDSL from the Internet Service Information page. To Create New skip to STEP 5

For FTTP, FTTC, HFC & FW skip to STEP 7

When you click the VDSL connection it will expand to make Edit's

Click More Options to expand further details. If you are Editing an existing connection skip to STEP 6

STEP 5: Configure you modem to create new connection:

If you don't see the option click Create New

STEP 6: On the right side of the page click the following options:
  • Ensure VDSL is selected for FTTN/B connection type
  • Choose PPPoE and enter your flip provided username and password. If you don't have this info please choose Dynamic IP options
  • On the IP Protocol type select IPv4/IPv8

Click Apply and wait 2 minutes for configurations to take affect.

STEP 7: Fibre To The Premise, Fixed Wireless, Fibre to the Curb and HFC:

Click ETH WAN from the Internet Service Information page or create new and select;

  • Internet Service - Ethernet WAN
  • Choose PPPoE and enter your flip provided username and password. If you don't have this info please choose Dynamic IP options
  • On the IP Protocol type select IPv4/IPv8
